Obviously this time of year has had me thinking of how blessed I am and writing this blog has given me the opportunity to express my gratitude for the things I have been given. I am thankful to be here at Brigham Young University and for great professors and leaders that are willing to share their knowledge with me. I am thankful for my family and the struggles and sacrifices they have made so that I can have a higher education. I am thankful for the gospel in my life. I am thankful for the whisperings of the spirit that lead me in the right direction. I am thankful for friends that stay by my side through the thick and thin. I am thankful for boys who honor their priesthood and always strive to put the Lord first. I am thankful for my beautiful niece and nephews who always know who to make me smile. I am thankful for the trials in my life that make me stronger. I am thankful that I have my health and that I have been blessed with doctors who know exactly what my body needs. I am thankful for being blessed with the chance to live in America and that I can appreciate all the many freedoms that it offers. I am thankful that I had the chance to grow up in such a wonderful area of the country and have so many people that have made such a large impact of my life and the choices I have made. I am thankful for priesthood leaders and teachers that are constantly looking out for my well being and help me to understand and live the gospel. I am thankful for the technology and advancements that allow me to easily keep in touch with those I care about who are far away from me. I am thankful for missionaries and the sacrifices they make to leave their lives and serve the Lord for two years.

This is really cool. You never realize how much you have to be thankful for until you write it down. I really liked how you said you were thankful for boys who kept the priesthood. I am thankful for that as well.
